"D"day (part 1)
We woke up so that I can be checked. We went to the other house to change cars with Bro cause it was a monday and our family car was coding. On our way to the hospital, we looked ate each other and said "hay, ang ating date car. Ngayon, magiging 2 na ang ating anak."
While driving Schatzie asked me what color would I want for our family car. We looked at every possible color that would fit our family car but still we haven't made a decision.
We arrived at Cardinal Santos. I immediately went to my doctor. She said my water bag is still intact. But there are contractions and I was dialating very fast. She said that I need to count the contractions and intervals. Then she sent us home.
It was lunch time when we got home. I ate a lot not knowing what lies ahead. Then I was uneasy because I am having the urge to push. So we called our doctor and she said that we need to come back to the hospital.
I double checked everything, from my clothes to jerry's and baby's clothes. And found out that the video cam was not yet ready. Grabe! I was a bit mad at schatzie cause I told him a week ago that I might give birth anytime soon. So we have to look for a blank tape while I was in labor. Whew!
Good thing we found the tapes. We bid goodbye to our little hero and to my surprise he said "baby wag sipa ha" I was so relived that he is willing to stay home with Faye and wait for us to come back. We went to our receptionist and said that we will be out for awhile cause the baby is coming out. he would not believe me at first cause I was smiling and all but I said "Serioso ikaw muna bahala sa bahay ha." He just smiled still confused.
On our way, I was nervous because it was already 3pm and we are using the family car which is coding. So I was practicing my line "Manong! manganganak na ako! Coding mo mukha mo! hahaha!" Buti na lang wala humuli samin.
Cardinal Santos for the second time of the day. The same guard was on duty and he said "Good afternoon maam!"
I answered "Good Afternoon din manong. San po ang delivery room manong?"
"Sa 2nd floor po maam"
"Ganun po ba manong. Kase manganganak na ako hinihintay ko lang po asawa ko. Wala po ba valet parking dito?"
"MAAM! Gusto nyo po umupo kukuha ako ng wheelchair!"
"Hindi na po manong maglalakad-lakad muna ako para madali manganak.=)"
Still in shock manong was looking at me.
Then Jerry called me and said that I should proceed to the delivery room and not wait for him cause my OB was waiting for me.
I went to the 2nd floor, asked the nurse where the delivery room is and she pointed the directions. The cuple who heard me was surprised and the girl wispered "mukha bang manganganak yan" HAHAHA!
There I was walking to that direction with my handbag on my shoulder and a big smile. A guy opened the door for me. It was a loooooong passage way and nobody was there. While approaching the big doors that say DELIVERY ROOM, I was thinking SYET! DIS IS IT! Kung ano ano na ang naiisip ko. I was a very silent room. There was no sound. Then suddenly a voice said "MISS HINDI DYAn." Hahaha. Nasira pag-eemote ko. "Ay, san po ba?" with a big smile still! "DITO!" Hahaha. Nakakatawa. I walked down the way he told me and shouted "HELLO! TAO PO! Manganganak po!" A nurse opened the door and asked me for my name. Ayun tumama din. She said "kanina ka pa hinahanap ni DOctora."
Part 1 muna. Still have to attend o my Lil angel.

The day before "D"day...
It was a fine sunday. We went to church, then got home, ate lunch and rested for awhile. After a few hours we went to a birthday party in mc do quezon ave to celebrate the birthday party of our friend's son. It was a nice party. Jazer participated. He even won the dance contest. It was a fine day. Until on our way home I was feeling a bit uncomfortable. When I pass by our hall way going to our unit, I sniffed the scent of a cigarette which made me ran rushing to our bathroom. I vomitted and to my surprise, something was gushing through my pants... It was so wet. I didn't know what to do.
I relaxed. Asked Faye to get the bag for the hospital. Checked if everything was there. Gave her all the "bilins" I have and thanked her for everything she has done to make the last days of my pregnancy enjoyable.
Still worried in the onther hand, I asked people I knew what was it like when the bag of water pops! hehehe. Good thing my twin brother, now a doctor, came back from Palawan. I asked him if my symptoms means the D-day is coming up. I even asked another ate if I need to go to the hospital. I even called my doctor but she said she will check me the next day if it is time. So, I tried to sleep. And waited for the next day.

I am 36 weeks pregnant
This week of pregnancy you start counting from your last menstrual period, but since most women are not aware of the exact day they conceived their baby, it makes sense. No pregnancy symptoms will be evident this week.
Many mother-to-be's can, however, remember the day their period started, so it makes a clear starting point for determining your baby's due date. It can be a bit confusing to remember to begin counting from when your period starts and that in reality you don't become pregnant until about 2 weeks later. For example, if your doctor or midwife says you are 12 weeks pregnant (from your LMP), then you conceived approximately 10 weeks ago.

I'm 35 weeks pregnant! according to surebaby!
This week of pregnancy, my baby is about 20-20 1/2 inches in length and weighs over 5 1/2 pounds. Babies delivered around this time tend to lose considerably more weight than a full-term baby because their digestive tract is still too immature for complete independence. As a sort of safety precaution, the babies store nutrition from their mother against the possibility of an early birth. By now, my baby's arms and legs are beginning to be chubby as more and more fat is deposited. Fat deposits increase from about 2% at mid-pregnancy to 12-15% at term.
My baby might "drop" (shift into your pelvis) before labor begins, but not all babies drop prior to the onset of labor. If my baby drops (this is also called "lightening" or "settling"), I will begin to notice a decrease in lap space when seated, a sudden ease of breathing and more stomach capacity (since the load has shifted down), more pelvic pressure, and more frequent urination- maybe even slight incontinence. At each prenatal visit, my doctor will check to see if my baby has dropped into your pelvis.

I'm giving birth and I don't know what to do.
Funny it seems I’m giving birth to my second child but I don’t know what to do. I don’t know what I need, I don’t know what to prepare. In one word, I’m lost. Haha. I have my pregnancy wish list. Still number 2 is done. I bought a few dresses, socks, mitts, receiving blanket…just the basic needs. I have a lot of friends who gave me hand me downs so there is no use to buy a lot. I said to myself “this time I will be smart enough not to be an impulsive buyer.” But there are so many cute dresses for baby girls! Hahaha.
My mom bought me feeding bottles. I want the ones from NUK kse. They have an ortho style nipple so that your baby doesn’t have sungki teeth! Hehe. Lola loves to buy things for her grandchildren. Ayaw pa rin nya aminin she is a grandmujer! Bwahaha! Tsaka I want to breastfeed up to 3 years... depende kung di nya ako kagatin.
I’m looking forward for my baby shower. Sana matuloy! I want my closest friends and family members to be there. Yung intimate talaga.
Hay... How I wish magawa ko lahat toh. I have a few weeks... maybe days. And I'll make sure I'll do it.

Blessings! Keep it coming!
Hay… Feels good! I prayed for those who are not yet blessed to be blessed with their own fruit. Our contractor, Kuya Emer, said to us when he started to build our house that he doesn’t have a child yet. I told him, “Hay naku Kuya! Ipagdadasal kita. In God’s perfect time dadating yan!” Not knowing by that time, his wife is already pregnant.

Time flies so fast...
I woke up yesterday and read my email. My pregnancy calendar said YOU ARE NOW 32 weeks pegnant. It means I am 8 months pregnant. Grabe! Do I have enough time to enjoy my pregnancy. I still have lots of things to do.
Here's what I want and need to do: (I will never know if this will be my last pregnancy, so might as well do it now.)
1.) Have my pregnancy protrait taken. As in I want it daring and full of art. ARTE! hahaha.
2.) Wear shorts and pregnancy shirts. Yung sexy pa rin pero my tummy na. Yung hindi mukhang losyang.
3.) Wear 2 piece. Ha! I want to! This is the only time I have the guts to wear it.
4.) Have a baby shower. I just want to have a baby shower. Please mag baby shower tyo!
5.)Have a henna tattoo in my tummy that says "Caution Baby Inside!" hehehe.
That's all I want. So far yung number 2 pa lang ang nagagawa ko.

Preggy Diaries...
I am so happy when I here someone or somebody is having a baby. I feel that it is a blessing.
What’s nice is that I am having my second blessing. It’s a bit different on how I had my first. The difficult things that I had with my first pregnancy are nothing compared to my second.
In my first pregnancy, my son gave me the courage to do things that are a bit of a dare-devil kind. I wanted to ride roller coasters, play basketball, and think that I am the stronger sex. That’s why from the very start I knew it’s going to be a boy.
In my second pregnancy, my daughter gave me the hesitation to do risky things. I don’t want to ride the wakeboard when we were in Lago del sol, I don’t want to see a lot of people, I want a quite environment which includes staying home or inside the room without any human intervention (crazy! Cause I am not like this. I am a very outgoing person)
I always have spotting when I was preggy with my little hero, but with my angel, I was just vomiting like hell. I mean, like you can feel your intestines ready to go out of your esophagus because you don’t have anything to vomit. I was nearly hospitalized for dehydration but THANK GOD I was not to have confined. I forced myself to eat and drink. Mountain dew helped me to replace the electrolytes that I lost during throwing up.
Ha! Talk about the things that I wasn’t permitted to drink during pregnancy… that excludes soda. My doctor permitted me because it’s the only thing that keeps me from vomiting.
My doctor is very happy with my second pregnancy cause it was not as difficult as the first. I even requested not to have any anesthesia to give my best push. I was not easy to push when you don’t have control. And I am just in my right weight. Hahaha. Well, a pound over weight is no big deal says my loving doctor. I love her too!

Pregnant Husbands Guidelines
Here are some guidelines for husbands when their wives are pregnant.
- Give her security and everything that she wants to eat. It's not easy to eat when you are pregnant and throwing up everything after.
- Do not upset her. Excercise maximum tolerance
- Do not take it personally when your wife would rather sleep than sleep with you. She really cannot help it and it is absolutely no reflection on your manhood or how much she loves you. Try again tomorrow morning after she has had some rest. (If you are lucky enough that she doesn't have morning sickness... in which case, try the playboy channel!) According to Vicki Iovine of The girlfriends guide to pregnancy
- Be ready for mood swings. From laughing to sudden flow of tears. Trust me! I've been there.
- Buy something after she gives birth. Like FLOWERS or something that could cheer her up. It's not easy to give birth.
Hope this helps you guys!

Baby names...
My favourite past time would be thinking about baby names. I love to think of 2 persons in a relationship and add up their names to make a new one or just think of cool names.
Right now, I'm thinking of names because I'm giving birth to my 2nd child. My bestfriend and I always tell people that if I'm going to have another baby it will start with the letter J. So the name Jaiden was invented because of the literal meaning "NAGSISIMULAN SA J DIN." hahaha. One day, while seating in a fast food chain... I whispered to my husband "Dydy, pagbaby boy toh ipapangalan ko JAIDEN ALISTER ha". He answered quickly "eh bakit Alister? parang pangboy!". With my eyebrows clashing "Eh pagbaby boy kaya ang sabi ko! Dba sabi mo noong magboyfriend tyo Aaliyah Jersey ang ipapangalan natin pagnagkababy girl tyo. Kase pinagsamang Ailie (my second name) at Jeremiah? Tpos yung Jersey iniba lang natin kase pinagsama din natin na Jerry(my husbands nickname) at Ailie. Na parang pinaiksi na Jerry's Ailie." HMMP! hehehe. "Ay oo nga! hehehe. Sorry! Cge yun ipapangalan natin."
One time, my bestfriend was giving birth to her first son. The name that she wanted was Julijo Luis. It was because she gave birth on July and Luis was the name that was on her list before she was married. 'But grandparents came... they can't pronounce the name and said "ang haba naman. Joselito na lang. JOSE from the father's father and LITO from the mother's father. Nyahaha. Then the nickname became JOLITS. hehehe. She said "babawi na lng ako sa pangalawa." Not knowing after 6 months of giving bith to her first... she would be pregnant with her next baby. hehehe. So we thinked of names, my suggestion was Jamiro because the name of the father was Jomari. Rumble the letters and WALLAH! a new name. Kaso e2 nanaman ang grandfather. Joshua daw. Kaya ayun Joshua Jamiro. Ok n rin kahit dami nagprotesta sa pangalan na Joshua. At least yung Jamiro nasama... nickname nya naging JAROU.
Hay names... my firstborn's name is Jeremy Alizer pla. Jeremy cause I gave the meaning "my Jerry" and Alizer kse Ailie na ginawa ko masculine. Parang Sir Ailie... hahaha. How I wish the name for our baby girl that was invented years ago will be given a chance.

Perks of being preggy
They say no 2 pregnancy is the same... I believe in that. Let me tell you about the perks and some of the things that pregnant women may cherish or curse when being pregnant. hehehe.
What are the perks of being pregnant?
1.) You get what you want.
- Wrong! Well, on my first prenancy I was a bit spoiled by my hubby but on my next pregnancy he was not that supportive. It breaks my heart but what can I do.
2.) You can never be judged that you have BILBIL (big tummy).
-I'm pregnant! And the person who said that will take it back. Telling you "how come your tummy is still small. Hahaha! And then you'll have a big laugh yourself. I have a reason to have a big tummy.
3.) Your breast will get bigger!
-you'll even be tempted to pose for a men's magazine! hehehe. The look is better but for the pregnant woman's feel it's way to different. It hurts because it's slowly filled with milk. And while your tummy gets big it get's bigger too! So imagine the weight added on your front.
4.) No caffeine, no alcohol, get away from 2nd hand smoke.
- I'm addicted to caffeine I confess! So it is really a sacrific not to drink any. But for alcohol well the love for my children will be always my priority. For 2nd hand smoke, I am willing to put up a fight just to make that person turn off his light.
5.) Bikini, 2 piece bathing suits!
- You can wear them! This is the only time that I have the guts to wear them. Hehehe. As I have said earlier. They can't judge you for having a big tummy! You are pregnant!
