My first Bora trip. =)

I know for some they have been there and back but for me, this is my first. I didn't know why people fell in love with Boracay. So, I decided to see it for myself. =)Together with my friend (another first timer) Chie and our partners (the not so first timers), we went to Boracay to see it for ourselves. From our Pal flight in Kalibo we took a bus going to Catiklan. From there a boat transfer was waiting. From the port, we took a van that was waiting for us. We were asked to walk from the road to the shores where Zuzuni boutique hotel is. We rested for awhile then started our adventure.

Firedancers

They are really hip in Bora. I love to take their pictures while they perform. I got surprise for my first try, then I got addicted, believed that I can take pictures using an DSLR. Hehehe. Well, a
s they say, practice makes perfect.

We met the fire dancers of Sandbox. A restobar that appears on the shores of Bora during night time. Carla, the lead dancer was really great (not his real name).

Project Cabinet update 1

We finally changed our cabinet maker. Dang! The first one made us wait for almost 2 months and I got sick and tired of him!!! My D-I-L looked for a new one and the one he saw was the best. He talked to my Schatzy on a thursday afternoon and met up with him the next morning. That afternoon they bought materials already. The next day, Saturday he came early to start on our cabinet and when I got home from work there was a big change in our room. It was almost half done. I asked my husband... "where was he when we were looking for a cabinet maker 2 years ago?" He smiled. I was relieved and confident that he would finish before New Year but he told my husband that he wanted to finish it before Christmas. Wow! He really is good!!! I am so excited for the new year.

Livin' the sweet life!

My passion is way uncontrollable and finally I decided to give in. Last 2 weeks ago I wanted to attend a class that's why I wrote my blog BuSYBEE. Unfortunately, my sched was made into a disaster when a client booked 5 days before that day and backed out after 3 days (argg!!!). That's why I didn't had the chance to be in class. Still, I couldn't resist the temptation to experiment with the things I bought (and got me broke!). Just to brag about my creations...

Merry Christmas everyone!!!

A Christmas Carol...

It's been years since I heard kids knocking at your door singing christmas carol. Last night, a group of student from our former school dropped by my friends house and sang christmas carols. I was so excited! I got teary eyed when I heard them sing. It's been awhile... and I was so happy that our kids get to experience this kind of stuff. They were really listening attentively and when my lil hero heard JINGLEBELL ROCK, he started to sing as well. See how behave they are. They are so cute! hehehe

trash turns to xmas decoration

I got half a dozen of bottles from someone who wants to dispose them. I at once asked if I could have it so I'll put my fishes(if I will purschase again)there and turn it into a mini aquarium. Then I had an idea to turn it to a decor for our house.=) Well, I just got the Idea from my son who gave me a glittered bottle as a christmas gift in his first year in school. I asked him how he did ot and he was happy to teach me how ro do it....

He told me that I need a double adhesive tape and glitters. So I went to the store after sending him to his school and purchased the basic colors for christmas. Red, green and gold I hope that it will turn out good. I practiced at 1 bottle first then it turned out nice. I did some more and then I got addicted so I made another one...Then another... and little did I knew I had 6 bottles done!!! It looked good on our shelves with my snow globes and ofcourse our lights (which is by the way designed by my Schatzy) made it more dramatic. We went out to buy some bird food for our loving Cobi and we saw a bunch of Santa Clause hanging at the corner of our street. We checked it out and bought these. I placed it in our bathroom to hold some of our guest toiletries. It serves as a decor with a purpose... We bought these hanging santa... which I wanted for a long time. My little hero loves it.

Schatzy hanged it at once! Hope Santa gets a hang of it! hehehe.
