Undying Love for a pet

Meet "CODI"

a peach faced lovebird who's going to be our Cobi's lover. We just discovered the Cobi is a she and a family friend gave a guy version of Cobi and we named him CODI. Got the name "CODI" from COlorful DIn. hehehe. Hope that his stay will bear the much awaited "EGG". hahaha. For now we just wish that the two will get along.

My lil angel loves her pet Cobi. She loves to talk to it and spends time patting Cobi. Whenever we come home she would greet Cobi.

Meet "COBI"

When Schatzy came home from his errands... He has a cage in his hand with a bird in it. Jazer shouted "WOW! Bird!" Hehehe. His Dydy kept his word and gave lil hero a new bird. We named HIM (boy daw kse) COBI. COBI in short for COlorful BIrd. He is a love bird with red, blue, yellow and mostly green in color. hehe. Jazer loves the new birds name. Hope our new pet (but for us we consider them FAMILY) will have a great time with us.

Letting go...

Jazer got a bird from Jarou's birthday party. It was colored red so he named it "red bird". He was so happy to go home with it. When we got home, he fed the bird and gave it water. I knew at once he got attached to the bird.

In the morning, when he woke up he looked for the bird at once, fed it and talked to it. Ate Faye said that she wanted to let go of the bird but was afraid when Jazer woke up he will be looking for it.

Before going to school that day, He said goodbye to the bird and he will be back soon after school. While gone Schatzy asked me if we should let go of the bird. I strongly suggested that It's jazer's bird so it's his decision to let go of it.

Schatzy said that we have to let go of the bird cause it was still small. I explained him my side. "I had a bird when I was still young and I was so attached to my bird. Her name is tweety. Tweety lives in my room. She doesn't have a cage. She sleeps under my bed and when I wake up I will call her and she would come out to play. One day, I was sick. I called her even though my throat hurts. Again and again, I didn't stop until my voice was almost gone. I went under my bed and found TWEETY hard and dead. I cried like hell. " He asked me if I would let Jazer feel the same way, get attached to the bird and someday, somehow it will be gone and he needs to deal with it. So, I decided to talk to my son when he gets home.

When he got home he shouted "hello mommy! Where's red bird?" I smiled. He ran to red bird and gave him food and water. I asked Schatzy to talk to him cause I don't have the heart. The boys had a talk and came up to a decision to let go of red bird.

They got red bird out of the cage. Jazer held it but bit him so he asked me to hold it for him. When it was time to let go I let him hold it. He freed it and looked at the direction where the bird was heading. He waited until the bird was out of sight. He thought that red bird will come back. He waited and waited. As I was looking at him, tears came falling down on his cheeks. He said red bird again and again. I can't explain that red bird will never come back. We embraced and cried... My husband saw us. He promise to buy a bird for a pet.

In memory of...

Fishy fish is dead! Whaaaaaa!! This morning I woke up and saw fishy fish gone! Whaaaa!! He stayed with us for a year. Guess fighting fishes don't live long. They don't require oxygen that's why we got him as a pet. Diba wais! No electricity needed. Very cheap pa sya. It was hard to believe he left us but That's Life!
