My lil hero's advance birthday party

As per my lil hero's request, we did celebrate his birthday a bit earlier.

A MONTH earlier. =)

I can understand why he wants it earlier. His birthday falls on April which is a school break. On our side, it's better cause we just need to feed the kids in his class.

He wanted an Astroboy theme. He really is a fan. I bought a small cake and placed his Astroboy coinbank on top, then made tags for the kids meal, saying "Thank you for sharing this day with me. REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE. Jazer"

A big loot bag was given after they ate their meal. The kids enjoyed their treat.

Welcoming year 2011

Our New year's celebration is simple. We celebrated it outside our patio. I turn it into soomething that surprised everyone.

I cooked a few dishes like pasta with tomato and basil. baked mussels, ordered sushi, seaweeds shocked oysters and I forgot some of what I cooked.The table presentation was inspired by the wedding that our team was handling a few days before. It made our dinner more intimate.The curtains add privacy because we don't want the other building to see us. When the kids came they were awed. =)

PARTEE PARTEE!

The month of November is the party month for me. Starting from my bestfriends birthday, up to Rizal's day, my calendar is lined up for parties. As early as september I am scheduled already for November. =)

I want to loosen up because this coming December I'll be working really hard. I have to grab the opportunity since December is a really busy wedding month.

Trick or treat '10

Always in a hurry. We said that there would be no trick or treating for the kids this year, NOT! My son was so eager to be one of the zombies in plants vs zombies. So, yeah, I have to give in.=) He wore his costume last last year and I painted his face. We couldn't find a costume for my lil angel so I bought gauze and food color and this is how she looked.

The impromptu trick treating was a blast. Everyone like my kids costume specially my lil angels mummy? costume=)

The boy has a long time crush on her but she has a different crush... after a decade or so she came to his new country. He started calling her and their love story starts from there. He is an Army and she works in a third world country. Every now and then he visits her or she visits him. Now they are married!


This made me believe that love will find a way...

Ailey is 2!

It's her birthday today and we are going to Antipolo. We are going there to thank the Lord for giving our kids another year to celebrate. Happy birthday Ailey! We love you!

Another year... a better celebration!

April is near and our kids are celebrating their birthdays again. This time I want them to spend a meaningful birthday. This time, we'll be celebrating with our very close family friends. Here's a hint on what's instore for us...

Kabsa Party

Kabsa (Arabic: كبسة‎) is a family of rice dishes that are served mostly in Saudi Arabia - where it is commonly regarded as a national dish - and the other Arab states of the Persian Gulf. Kabsa, though, is believed to be indigenous to Yemen.

And yes indeed we had a party last Saturday at Des and Mega's crib. Jay was there already when Arvin, Rocky and I came. We felt really at home. Papu came with his famous KABSA and Lance was more than eager to give him a ride. We prepared the ensalada and choco fondue. Then Regie came with a case of San Miguel. They were teasing me to eat again. HA! If there was enough room in my tummy I would say yes!

We reminisced about our highschool days in Riyadh. And I am so proud to be one of them.

The Sayedi twins came also then their sister Yas arrived after a few minutes. Everybody had a blast.

no more blogs

I know I haven't been blogging for awhile. I spent time with my Toli. There is so much to tell but I have a lot of mixed emotions right now. Toli is like a father to me. And no one can ever take his place in my heart. His memory will live on and I will never get tired of telling my kids how he took care of me. He knows that I love him so much. I am sure even if he is not here anymore he can make things happen.

Every year is a new year...

For me it is a blessing. While everyone wishes to have a fruitful new year, I wished to have a meaningful year ahead and a strong will to do my best in coming years . I wish everyone good health and be bless with opportunities that will make their lives properous. As for me, I got my present always ahead of time. It's not a material thing, and it happened days before chirstmas.

Mafia Party

I love dressing up for parties. We have been invited to a Mafia Party by friends. I love this guys because they really do give effort in dressing up for the theme. They are soooo cute! Some are called the DON, the waiter, PALOS, winter wonderland, BONDying, Lady Gaga, JAMES BOND Katy Perry lips and DON Enricos. They played with Tito Mitx' new toy MR. Chips but before they did, a photo op was made and the props keeps on coming! Just want to share with you some pictures.

Bader's Day!

After 11 years and 2 days of my life came my Bader Kevin Kyle Asuncion... When he was still a baby I was tasked to take care of him. I would change his diapers and feed him milk. I do wash his feeding bottles and I let him ride at the back of my bike. He would sleep soundly after a few route. I will have little time to play with my playmates because of my chores due to having a younger brother. I was sooooo happy to have him as a bader but things changed when he was a toddler. He loves to ransack my room, embarass me infront of my friends and loves to irritate me. He tested my what-so-called patience and always gets me in trouble with my parents. We were separated when he was 7 THANK GOD! I am thankful but I cannot say that I don't miss him. We grew apart but his sweetness did not. Every vacation he will sing for me a new themesong... The first one he sang was CRUSIN TOGETHER then after a year he sang for me the song MAKING MY WAY DOWNTOWN WALKING FAST... YOU KNOW I'D WALK A THOUSAND MILES JUST TO SEE YOU....

I miss you Kengkeng! And Its your birthday! We are gonna party cause it's your birthday!

If ever I will have a Bader. I will ask God "I WANT NOBODY NOBODY BUT CHU!

Everything A-OK for my birthday!

And I thank God for all the blessings! Thanks for all you gave me. I had a great 28 years of life. I survived the ups and down. I am very thankful for every lesson I learned. And advance thank you for everything that will come in my life.

This day makes another year for me. I thank you for giving me great friends who greeted and wished me a very happy birthday.

I thank you for giving me Jerry who has made my life fulfilling. Specially for my kids who made me complete.

It's my birthday!

And I will smile if I want to! Cry if I want too! then smile if I want too! What would you do if it happens to you!!!!

Schatzy and I had our little getaway from the city. We went to a place that both of us have never been before. We went to Thunderbird Taytay, Rizal, just 45 mins from Pasig. We discovered this little haven from the Internet and the Tv show TRIP na TRIP. They have an on-going promo.

It was a very relaxing experience. After checking in, we rested for awhile and changed in our swimsuits. Schatzy was so excited to use his new speedo goggles because it has a grade and he can see clearly under water. Hahaha! I chilled out on the poolside reading BREAKING DAWN. Then joined Schatzy for a quick swim and a dip in their heated jacuzzi.

We showered just in time for our dinner. I had a few pictures in front of the Casino entrance (they don't allow camera's inside) before we had our dinner. We spent 3 hours eating because we ate a lot from the soup and salad buffet. Dang! The I just regained 5 kilos (65kilos minus 5kilos equals 60 kilos in 1 month plus 5 kilos in one day equals... very FAT!)

We rested in our room and had our free foot massage. While waiting for my turn I read my book and had the rest and relaxation that I have wished for (no kids shouting and pulling my book). Don't get me wrong but I love my kids I just need alone time.=) Schatzy asked me to wait till the news is done but I dozed-off and woke up the next day! hahaha. I guess I really wanted to rest more than play in the casino. We had buffet breakfast the next day and yes, we spent 2 hours eating. I just have to make sure I am really full before I play for the first time. =) Don't starve the birthday girl! I played and won 120pesos! Not bad for a first timer. My adopted father told me I can buy myself a 2 pcs. chicken joy from Jollibee. Hahaha. We had our complimentary drinks before we left. Played the second time and went home.

My birthday was almost perfect but I got dizzy on our way home and puked all the way home. It was very nice to come home with my lil angel waiting for me. She hugged me for 10 mins but I bet her to let go because I have to go to the bathroom. hahaha. I still have the rest of the day to celebrate! Hope the whole celebrates with me even Typhoon Tino is here! As usual... there is a typhoon on my birthday.

Trick or treat!

I say TREAT! It was a real treat seeing my kids wear their costumes. I really love dressing up for the halloween. It was one of the events I missed my childhood days (ika nga di pa uso). My lil angel wore a mermaid costume while my lil hero wore a pirate suit. It was cute thinking that it's a sea theme.

We went to a birthday party today even Kuya Kim told us that Santi will be here by that time. My kids are really looking forward for this event so rain or shine we have to go. Too bad Schatzy was still working that time so he wasn't able to come with us. My lil hero joined all the games and bagged a lot of loots. He even got a prize for his sister. Sweet noh!

They have sugar rush now from all the goodies they got.
