First night of my first bora trip

We gave ourselves an hour to rest. Then we went to "D Mall", ate our dinner then we looked for our friends.

We were really tired but I managed to walk on my own and look for barbeque. I saw a bunch of fire dancers. Then head back to our hotel. I have to admit after finishing a bottle of wine I was so sleepy.

My first Bora trip. =)

I know for some they have been there and back but for me, this is my first. I didn't know why people fell in love with Boracay. So, I decided to see it for myself. =)Together with my friend (another first timer) Chie and our partners (the not so first timers), we went to Boracay to see it for ourselves. From our Pal flight in Kalibo we took a bus going to Catiklan. From there a boat transfer was waiting. From the port, we took a van that was waiting for us. We were asked to walk from the road to the shores where Zuzuni boutique hotel is. We rested for awhile then started our adventure.

Firedancers

They are really hip in Bora. I love to take their pictures while they perform. I got surprise for my first try, then I got addicted, believed that I can take pictures using an DSLR. Hehehe. Well, a
s they say, practice makes perfect.

We met the fire dancers of Sandbox. A restobar that appears on the shores of Bora during night time. Carla, the lead dancer was really great (not his real name).

Araw ng siklista

I said to myself, now, I am 29 I am going to mark my birthday with something worth remembering. Last November 7, 2010, I join the araw ng mga siklista. It's a 130km. bike ride around the 17 cities of Metro Manila. We biked from our house all the way to the first municipal, Quezon City. We left there b 6:30am. From Quezon City Circle, to North Ave., to EDSA, to Balintawak(NLEX), then MC. Arthur Highway. Then we got to Venzuela City Hall, stopped for awhile and ate a few boiled eggs (our baon was burgers, boiled eggs and lots of water). After a few minutes we rode our bikes once again. We entered Mc Arthur highway, Gov.L Santiago, turned to Marcelo H. Del Pilar, then Tinajeros Bridge, Gen. San Miguel road.We didn't stay at Caloocan for very long, we went to the next stop Malabon City HallI can still smile right? It's not that hard. We were riding at the speed of 15 km per hour so it's not that tiring. After that the next stop was Navotas City Hall. We stay there only to take a few shots they head on to the next city hall.We arrived in Manila City Hall and there was like a party. You'll see a lot of different people with different bikes. No, this one is my brother. =)Next stop, San Juan City Hall. I got wasted a lot on our way to this municipal. The road was like up and down, up and down. My butt hurt along the way. hehehe. We got lost so we waited for my father in law and my brother to the next Municipal. The municipal of Mandaluyong. We tried to call them but they said we will just see each other in our next stop Makati city hall.We saw each other and tried to go to the next Municipality but my brothers tired popped twice so we had a break.I was too tired and hungry so we stopped by the next store we can. I couldn't bike anymore because of cramps that's why my brother in law came to the rescue and gave me a ride. Well, Schatzy, Bader and Father in law went on and tried to catch up with the other bikers.

I tried my best. I guess 9 municipalities is not bad at all!

My first ride...

Yesterday is my first ride with Osten. I had fun and believed in myself once again. Schatzy dydy didn't expect me to bike Pasig to Fairview. And yes! I did it! I was so happy that I was bragging about the ride. It took 2 hours, 3 stops (one at my in laws house to borrow my D-I-L's helmet, a softdrink stop and scramble break. hehehe) and a supportive husband to finish. I didn't eat breakfast but drank tea so my tummy will feel warm. It lasted me for 3 hours. On our way back my tummy was grumbling and seeking for food. I called Fairy Faye to cook whatever it is that's easy to cook so I can eat when we get home. Oh my! I ate alot and slept the rest of the day. I even forgot to do my duties for the store that day. I am so happy. =)

Minalungao, Nueva Ecija

Minalungao Cave is situated at Gen. Tinio Nueva Ecija. A friend own a farmlot near the place so we checked it out. We got awed by the place. There still is an existing place like this. My nanang runner said that she had never seen a river before. I almost cried and thought of my childrens kids. Would they be able to exerience taking a dip in the river like we did?
The national park is a good experience for the kids. They loved to splash around. The good thing about it is they have cottages on the side of the river where you can eat (just bring the food). You'll have to pay 100php for the cottage which helps the residence in maintaining the

place.
On the other side, you can do some rock climbing (the trek is good enough for the kids to go with you) and do some photo op like we did.

Everybody had a wonderful experience and a sunburn! (BIGTIME)

Blog overload

You will experience a blog overload! hahaha! Since I was not able to blog for a long time. I will be sharing my adventures these past few weeks. Our La Union trip with the Abl team, Nueva quick trip, Nueva Ecija Minalungao trip, Calatagan with the ZOPELS, and Angeles road trip. I'll start blogging now!

La Union for the Holyweek '10

This is my second time in La Union (first time was last January with the EE team) but my first time to surf (and Schatzy Dydy's first time too). We left on a Wednesday night and arrived around 3 am. We had a few hours snooze then I woke up to go to the market. Our thursday morning was spent on bonding with our friends. Later that, after we had our lunch we went to the beach and surfed. I got bumped and bruised! And worst a jellyfish left an itchy part in my skin. Hahaha!

That night, I went to the church and ask for guidance in my decision. The church was just 20 steps away. Imagine... isang tumbling lang!

The next day we went back to the beach but I didn't surf this time to give way for Good friday. When we got home there was no electricity. And that didn't stop us from enjoying the rest of the night.

Last day, we went back to the beach earlier than the usual. I tried surfing for the second time and I succeeded.

Later that afternoon, we just chilled and watched the other people surf. I just sat on the side with my trustee banig.

Batangas (Lemery/Diver's paradise)

A week ago we went to Batangas Lemery together with our family friends for a fun filled 2 day vacation. We stayed at Leonor Beach Resort where the sand is black. The boatman said it is colored that way because it is near the Taal volcano that gives off sulfur.
It took us 30 mins from the resort to go to the diver's paradise. And boy! Everybody loved it! The water's clear and there are a lot of fish. The corals are spiky though, it will require you to wear aquasocks.
Here are my lil ones braving themselves in open water. At first I asked my lil angel if she wants to dip but she said "NO" but I told her that the water is fine and dipped her. She got cold but she saw fishes and got distracted. She forgot how cold it was! Schatzy dydy held her hand in the beginning but he let her go when she said she can do it on her own. About my lil hero, he is used to open waters. He had his confidence when we went to Bohol last year. The boatman there helped him at first and showed him a clown fish. Nemo! Nemo! cried the boatman so my lil hero got curious and checked it out. He used his snorkel and breathed in the air tube. From then on, he had confidencein swimming in open waters. As for my Schatzy, he had fun with Osher. He had a lot of underwater pictures with Mitx, my-bader-in law. He even had a video swimming underwater. We really enjoyed the trip, unfortunately my monthly visit came the day before. I was dying to dip but it would really be nasty on our way home. hahaha! It was our first DZONE summer family trip. All of us enjoyed!

Muruami!

Hectic Schedule

I miss our home! We have been out everyday it's because my-cousin-from-my-fathers-side-who-married-my-uncle-from-my-mothers-side (take note they are not blood related) and their lil one who's my cousin niece are here. Everybody is busy and I'm the one who is not so I love going out with them.

Still, I manage to do my duties in Farmville but I need to cut out my time in blogging.

About the kids, they love swimming everyday. Their skin color is darker and they can swim pretty much on their own.

Our family is excited because we are going on a vacation this Holy week not like last year where I spent it on a operating table. This year we will be spending it with friends. We would go surfing and we would go bisita iglesia in a different place. So, here I am listing all the things that we need again for our vacation. I haven't unpacked all of our things from last weeks trip. And here I am repacking our bags. It's not that I am complaining, I am really happy to be doing this. Specially when we are complete.

I'll just blog about our Batangas Trip and my 14 day challenge next but for now I'll list down our things to bring.

Boatchase

Here is my Schatzy with his boat Ondoy...

He rides the boat and heads his little adventure... not knowing what is instore for him. He tried to convince me but I said no. So off he goes to his adventure...
Until he falls off the boat and the wind carried the boat away from him. My brave lil Hero swam to get to his dydy but I told him that it would be best if he will walk on the shoreline. There was no use, even if my Schatzy would swim near the boat it would tumble far away cause the strong wind was blowing. A kid helped him but was able to get it. So a motorboat saved our boat Ondoy. hehehe. Here goes the father and son tandem to get the boat from the lifeguards. My happy hubby reunited with Ondoy. hahaha.
I had a share of load and carried Ondoy in my head.
Earlier, Fairy Faye gives our lil angel a ride and decides to deflate it so the wind will not fly it away.
