Soledad Suites

In our entire vacation in Bohol we stayed at Soledad suites. I made a different blog about Soledad suites because there is so much to tell. From the day that we checked in until the day we had to say goodbye.

Right after landing at Tagbilaran Airport we rode the car and started the land tour. After the tour we went straight to Soledad Suites where we would stay for the entire Bohol trip. When we got there, I am so tired that I lounged at their lobby. The receptionist asked me to fill up some form so we can go up already. I told her that my husband will be the one to fill it up. She knew right there that I was so tired that’s why she told me that we could go up at once and rest. One thing I love with Soledad people is that they are sensitive enough to your needs. They assisted us to the room and from there I felt the place is haven.

I wanted to lie down but my body is so dirty that it would ruin the crisp white linen of the bed. It felt good to shower in their clean bath. There is a hot and cold shower that would relax your tiring muscle after the long trip. As I went out of the room, my kids were giggling because they felt at home. The whole family slept the entire afternoon. We woke up just in time for dinner but we were too wasted to go down so we ordered and asked them to deliver the food in our room. With no hesitation they delivered the food and we had our scrumptious dinner that filled our tummies and gave us a big smile. I told my husband “Daddy, I don’t like this place because I LOVE IT! I LOVE IT! I LOVE IT! I am having the best R&R (rest and relaxation) of my life!” Right after dinner we decided to energize for the upcoming sea tour the next day.

The sea tour was great. We were all tan and salty after the tour. It made us tired that made my son say “I wanted to go to our other home! (Referring to Soledad Suites)” When we got there they were still cleaning the room. When they saw us they tried to make it faster. I was impressed but I wanted to shower that’s why I excused myself and took a shower.
After our usual afternoon nap I told the whole family to get ready cause we are going to dine in their café. Ate first we went to Brew point resto bar, it was deserted! Hehehe. It is because you can dine in Brew point café. It’s just the same. The waitress attended to us at once and got our orders. I ordered tapsilog and a slice of cake. The cake was heaven. And the price was only 35php. I love it! The meal was DELISIOSO according to my son. YUMYUMYUM.

That night, I wanted to go out and have a feel of Bohol’s Night Life. Retchell, the attendant was so helpful that she told us a place were we would enjoy the band and the ambiance. And when we got there, we really did enjoy the place. Thanks to Retchell!

The next day was the day we had to say goodbye. I didn’t want to but we had to. The warm staff made it hard for us to say goodbye. My son was crying because he didn’t want to go. He was telling us “I don’t want to leave my other home!” My daughter was clinging to the receptionist and smiling (maybe that’s her gesture of saying thanks a bunch to the lovely ladies).
We were assisted by the driver (I think his name is Albert) in going to the airport. He was kind enough to make a stop to the nearest church on our way. I couldn’t help but pray for those kind people of Soledad suites that made our vacation a memorable one. I was teary eyed. I can never forget their warmth. Soledad made a difference. And I love it for that. My son is right… SOLEDAD SUITES IS OUR OTHER HOME.

NOTE: I'm usually excited to post pictures about my trip and when my friends saw it they asked me where we stayed... with no hesitation I answered Soledad suites! You'll love it!
