Bohol Trip Day 1

We arrived at tagbilaran airport 2 minutes earlier than the estimated time of arrival. We took pictures of the airplane, airport etc. and went out to look for our tour guide. Outside Manong Junior was waiting for us holding his bondpaper written our names it. I approached him then he took us to his car. Our guided trip started there.

Our first stop is Chocolate hills but I was so hungry that I told them we need get a bite. We ate at I don't know where. I had TAPANG KALABAW for breakfast. We took pictures of the church outside. I am not good with names so you can guess that I forgot the name of the church. =)

On our way to Chocolate Hills, the road was zigzag. Ate faye and I got dizzy. I told her to get an air sickness bag (the one we got from the airplane) ready in case she needs to throw up. I asked Jerry if its possible for him to hold Ailey cause I am not feeling good as well. I handed Ailey then right after that I grabbed Ate Faye's air sickness bag and you know what happened next. =)
When we had a stop, the driver told us that we can go up and view the chocolate hills. Before seeing the chocolate hills itself you can choose to climb the stairs or take the stiff road. I am not feeling well but convinced myself that chocolate hills is the number 1 tourist spot in Bohol. A trip in Bohol will never be complete without seeing the chocolate hills and have your picture taken with it. It was a magnificent view. Ailey was clapping her hands. The guide told us that once upon a time, two giants were at war. They use to throw balls of mud at each other and it resulted to chocolate hills.Good thing Ate Faye still has enough strength to go with us on the view site. I told her that her trip will never be complete without her picture taken with chocolate hills.
Once on the view site we were asked to jump as high as we can and get our pictures taken. At first Jerry hesitated to pose but when the photographer (or shall I say PHOTOGRAPHIST according to manong guard of trinoma) asked us to jump as high as we can he could stop projecting! We jumped and jumped and enjoyed each and every pose we can. Jerry was having a great time. Ang gwapo ng asawa ko ha. Lalo ako na-iinlove!

After the picture taking we went down to check on the souvenir shops we saw this big tarsier board that you can stick your face and take a picture of it. Each shot daw cost 5 pesos according to manang of the souvenir shop if we will not purchase anything from their souvenir shop. I was suppose to buy something from there but she looked unkind that made me think twice. I just paid 15 pesos for our pictures. Hahaha. Sungit kse ni manang eh nagbago tuloy isip ko.The kids enjoyed having their pictures taken. They are starting to know what a tarsier is like.
We went to the Bilar man made forest next. We were awed by the tall trees. The tour guide Kuya Junior asked us to pose in the middle of the road. We ran and posed. To bad Ate Faye was really having an upset tummy so she was not able to join us in the pictures.

We went to the hanging bridge. It was a very nice site but nothing special about it. Every step we took gave the bamboo bridge a cracking sound. Still not feeling well... Ate faye opted to stay in the car. In the end of the bridge a lady was selling Grilled banana with margarine and sugar. It looked yummy but I was so wasted that I cannot eat.
The next attraction! TARSIER! Another Bohol tourist attraction! You have to have a picture with a tarsier so people will believe you that you have been to Bohol.

That's the first half of our first day!
