Hahaha! Everyweek I teach my son a new word. This week, the new word is CONSEQUENCE.
The usual question is trown at me everytime I introduce a word, so I told him "You don't want to study? Okay. You are not allowed to use your PSP for a week and that is your consequence." Jazer didn't ask me what it means but I know this time he understood the meaning of the new word. He ran inside the room and tried to shed a few crocodile tears. I said to my husband I can't give in.

After a few minutes, I was ready to give in, ny little hero went out of the room with his work book and said "Mommy, I'm ready to study."

I won! Hahaha. Yes! Whew! I thought I am the first one to give in. It felt good inside. After he finished his work I told him... "Everything you do has consequences. You have a choice. It depends on what you choose what your consecquence will be. So do you understand me?"

"If Jazer will not study Jazer will not lay PSP. If Jazer will not eat Jazer will go hungry."

"Very Good anak!"

I had a big smile at my face. Hubby was impressed. I felt like I'm a good parent. No spanking needed just making him understand the meaning of CONSEQUENCE.
