Well, my husband and I are not the couple couple type... meaning WE would not kiss in front of other people, hold hands, or if you will see us you would think that we are just friends. Hahaha. funny it may seems but we have other ways to show our affection to each other which I just recently observed.
- At our daughters christening, he asked if I was drinking iced tea. I knew that he would ask for my drink so I pretended not to hear him while gulping all the remaining iced tea in the glass. We laughed after I finished the whole glass in seconds.
- Couples hold hands while on a date. We do not. We are like tag you are it catch me if you can! We walk like we are in a hurry and I would stop him by saying... "Dy isn't it nice to stop and smell the flowers?" then we would end laughing.
- Husbands and wives talk before they go to sleep. We chat as in literal chat ym chat? Hahaha. Everynight while he works in our home (work at home using the internet) he would open his ym and I'll say hello or I love you or You are on line I miss you.
- Sports as our way of showing our love. We box together, we run together, we swim together and it feels great.
I love the way we show our affecttion to each oher. Friends say that they can't believe that we have a family cause we still act as friends. I am happy. I heard once in an older couple that it is important that your partner in life should be your bestfriend because time will come and the romance will end but the friendship is there.
