Anniversary in a different way...
Jerry and I spent our 4th year anniversary in a very different way...

Knowing my husband for almost 5 years, he is not the type who does surprises. I always wanted a guy who has a strategy in showing his sweetness but my husband... well, that would be a different story.

So I decided to forget about expecting anything from him. Except for him to remember it's our anniv and greet me.

It was 9pm of Jan 7 (3 hrs b4 our anniv) as I helped my son with his before bedtime rituals. Water supply was slowing down so I have to give him his shower. Dress him up while letting him watch his favorite super inggo. After that, Jazer and I went to our bed, lights off, so he would be forced to close his eyes. Anyway, there would be no difference if he would close or open his eyes coz it's going to be dark one way or another. 10 minutes later,I slowly got out of our room so I won't wake our little boy. When I came out of the room, Jerry held up his head then asked "Knock out na?"(our term of "JAZER fallen asleep due to forced eye closure or excessive sleepiness ") I smiled and anwered "Yeah! may mapapanood p b kong maging sino k man dyan?" he then said yes.

There I am sitting on our comfy sala chair watching my KAPAMILYA teleserye while making papansin to my workaholic husband... (wa epek! kulang n lang lagyan ng sign n DO NOT DISTURB! WATCHING MY FAV TELESERYE!) Oh it's ok he is working at the same time while watching. So we watched till we got bitin coz the last scene was ely and jackie (or prenses to keana) accidentally saw each other at celine's place. Changed it to CSI when... my alarm started to ring.

It's 12 am of Feb 8 meaning It's our anniv. Pretending I didn't know... I continued to watch waiting for him to remember and greet me man lang! Syet! After a few minutes he opened his mouth and said "uy, happy anniversary! I love you...( paused for a moment) PAKI LAGAY NGA YUNG SAPATOS KO SA KWARTO NI JAZER!"

PAKSHET! Sweet na sana kaso I was so shocked kasi may kasunod na utos. I answered back "love you too! Happy anniversary! PWEDE BANG BUKAS KO NA LAGAY YANG SAPATOS MO SA KWARTO? SARAP NA UPO KO D2 TSAKA HINDI NAMAN YAN LALAKAD MAG-ISA. Kainis kasi utusan ba nman ako. Ok n sna eh.

I got a lil bit pissed so I decided to make a revenge by playing dead or alive with him. (SYA ANG MOTIVATION KO KUNG GUSTO KO MATALO KALABAN KO> INIISIP KO SYA YUN.) "ZY, laro tyo xbox mauna na ako s kwarto ha sunod ka ha." Sa loob loob ko... lagot ka tatalunin kita hayop ka! ehehehehe! Then as I turn the xbox on our door opened... there my husband was with a dozen of red roses. "HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!" Bibilhan sana kita ng cinnabon eh. Kaso la ako mahanap kaya roses na lng. With a big smile my eyes widened and jumped in our bed. "akala ko hindi... wala lang kse wla kang kasweet sweet sa katawan!" I shouted as I hugged him while kinikilig on the side. hehehe. "CGE XBOX NA NGA TYO PARA MATALO NA KITA! I proudly told him. As the game started... the same old opening sound of a xbox game filled the air. Then my son from his sleep rose up got his daddy's controller and said "YEHEY!"

We got shocked! He woke up in the middle of the night without a blink on his eye. As the 3 of us laughed on the events. We slept around 4am. Yes! WE including my 1 yr old son who celebrated our different kind of anniversary.
