What's in a name? KAPAMILYA!

Really? If you're gonna ask me, I'm contented with my maiden name. It is so unique Arianne Ailie A. Asuncion. That's why people call me "Aa" or "Aze". Having all of my names starting with the letter A ba naman eh. Hehe.

But seriously what's in a name? When I got married it almost took me a year to finally accept the fact that I need to change my family name. Syet! What happened to my AAAA initials? hahaha.

Then YES the time came that I accepted that I am no longer Ms. Asuncion... I am now, Mrs. Dizon. So, we went to Recto a couple of times to buy our house materials such as Lights, sinks, Bulbs, metals, nails, etc.

One time when we were walking down Soler St. I eyed the pin lights I wanted for our living room. We started buying there cause the prices were extremely low compared to mc home depot. It's almost half the price! So we bought all the lights we needed, even more than what was in our plan (HAHA). Jerry noticed that the money in his pocket is exact to pay the lady owner. The lady was nice enough to give us a bigger discount. (para daw may pamasahe kmi. haha). Then upon asking us what name she would address the receipt, she learned that we have the same family name Dizon. Trilled to know that we have the same name, she asked us where are we from and giving us a much bigger discount. (haha! Lucky pregnant me!) With a smile on our faces we left the place telling each other that if we are going to need more lights we will go back there. Anyway it's just a train away!

After a few days, the contructor said that we have to buy a new circle sink to replace our rectangle one cause it won't fit the corner. Again, Jerry drags me to Recto in fear of buying the sink that I don't like. So there we go again walking down the Soler St. we saw a few sink but the sink won't sink in me! Bwahahaha. In short, I don't like! We passed the store of Mrs. Dizon thinking that I want a motion light to put in our patio area. In other words we bought a few lights again with a discount. With her delight of us coming back, again, she gave us a discount. Then after handing us the receipt she ran inside the store telling the other lady she's with for us to wait. To my surprise, she came out with a box of tikoy in her hand for me. I was so happy cause I love tikoy! We asked her where we could buy a sink and she told us that her niece, another Dizon owns the place. We went there and saw a sink that sank in my heart! hahaha. Talk about a signature (la cucina) sink with a reasonable cheap price. We told the owner our name for the receipt and she smiled cause we have a same name. While waiting for the receipt, we eyed the professional faucet we wanted. Hay... to bad we don't have much money in our pocket. Guess we just have to go back if we wanted it.

Then I said to myself, Nah! We don't need such thing. I won't die if I wouldn't have it. But mein Schatz wanted it more than I do. He said "PaANNIVERSARY gift ko sayo". Even if I don't want it that much. Like ko lang. Ganun?!

This time he went to Recto without me. He knows what he is going to buy. There is no need to drag the Preggy ME! And yes he bought it! Hay... In my heart I love it but in my head maybe we can use the money for many other items we NEED. As I have said "what can I do? He wants it as an anniversary gift. Oshasha! Cge na nga!

As the construction is on going, the cabinet maker told us that we need to buy screws, nails, etc. for the cabinet. So there we were, off to Recto! hehehe. Riding the Lrt2 I was a feeling a bit unwell but I have to go with mein Schatz. In fear of not buying the stuff that I want. hahaha.
We bought what we needed and while waiting for the things to be packed, he left me to go to the store where he bought the sink and faucet. On his way there he saw the tray that looks like the one we saw in MC home depot. In a much cheaper price, he told me to take a look at it. I gave him a go signal and he handed me the money. The guy owner of the store asked for what name he would address the receipt. Upon learning we have a save family name. I said "haha! You know what? the lady who sells lights across the street is named Dizon also and the girl who sold us the sink and faucet the other week also." He smiled and said "The lady who sells lights is my aunt and the girl who sells sinks and faucet is my sister." "wow! this street is filled with Dizons" As we bid goodbye we told the guy Dizon to hold on to our items cause we are going to check out the floor materials. We chatted with the lady owner of the store and asked for her calling card so we will contact her if we are going to purchase something from the store. I then told her jokingly "hehe. Hindi ka nman Dizon noh." She answered "Dizon nga. Bkit?" To my surprise I laughed. Hehe. "Dami natin Dizon! Yung sa tabi Dizon, yung nabilhan nmin ng sink Dizon. Yung tindera ng ilaw Dizon." She smiled hehe kapamilya namin yun. Haha! Hindi kapuso!
